WEBQUEST TASK

Due to the National Environment Day should be taking into account ReCyClInG because people should take care of the planet in which we live. In order to do this you should visit the pages that are in the WEBQUEST PROCESS where tells you what to recycle and how to do it. Besides, this link will help you what to recycle according to the different materials such as: plastic, glass, wood, cardboard and iron. Furthemore, you have some videos where you can watch and learn how to recycle different products according to their materials. After watching all this information you need to create a publicity board about the importance of recycling. You have to be very creative you can use all things, colors and decorations you want to but, emphasizing what materials you can recycle, how to do it and then provide images of that. Remember to be very creative and it has to be an excellent publicity board so everyone that passes by has to catch their attention. Enjoy it!

WEBQUEST "ReCyCliNg" INTRODUCTION

Hi everyone!!!!!. Welcome to my blog one more time.

This time we are going to work with the Webquest, which is a really dinamic tool where people can interact in a direct way and also can play, do tests and evaluate themselves. In this section it will be discussed about RECYCLING in a more dinamic way through the Webquest. As you all know, Recycling is a process in which products that have been consumed can have another use in order to conserve the planet and not throwing those wasted products to the wastebasquest. That is what all people should do but most of them do not do it. In order to fulfill with the expectations, you have to achieve several stages wich are the TASKS, here you have to be aware of what is intended to do, then the PROCESS where you actually have to act and try to achieve the task as aforementioned and finally the EVALUATION where you will be noticed how the task or your perfomance is going to be evaluated.

Nowadays, teaching is a difficult and annoying task due to many factors, but teaching English in a classroom is even more annoying for most of the students. They do not see the importance of learning a target language and they just do not care about it. One reason for this is that teachers do not motivate them, teachers just give the content basing on structures and grammatical rules, what make students get bored and tired of studying those structures. Also, teachers do not base the contents on real life situations what makes English even boring. The idea of being a teacher is being creative, teachers need to be able of motivating students, giving functional contents and being willing of making changes. In order to do this, some approaches and methods allow teachers teach in more dynamic way within a classroom. One of those approaches is the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), which can be applied and used by EFL teachers. Richard and Rodgers points out that this is an approach to teach a target language where interact the learners and the learners’ experiences. In a way, this is truly important due to the fact allows students learn on their own and work with their personal experiences that help to learn a second language effectively. In addition, the instructional material used on this approach is really important and useful because is authentic and from-real life materials. This is what facilitates the students knowledge because the material is from realia thus they can work with that knowledge inside and outside the classroom. Another important aspect of CLT is that is focused on the Communicative Competence rather than the Linguistic Competence. According to Hymes (2006) states that the goal of the CLT is the communication, that is why, he highlighted the CC. He does not focus on the Linguistic Competence, because that is acquired through the time when the learners start learning on their own. To sum up, the CLT is a great option to use within a classroom in order to teach a target language effectively thus students learn in a better and dynamic way.

Hi everyone this is me! Voruska the queen xD . My name is Voruska Velazquez and I´m from UPEL-IPC, I study English. I´m a really cheerful, outgoing and very friendly person who loves listening Pop music, going to clubs, dancing and also doing some sport. What I really love is to eat. I love eating junk food specially Pizza, it´s my favourite. I hate swimming, because I can´t. Also, I like to study and my career is about Teaching English. I really love my carrer, it is really interesting and fascinating, everyday I learn something different. Also, I like it beacuse it is in English. Furthemore, i have the greatest and nicest professors ever, they are really cool. Also, I like the subjects I´m taking right now, specially Methodology for teaching English as a foreing language, which is an interesting subject that help me how to teach in a near future in a effective way. Additionally, in this subject I learn different approaches and methods about teaching, new strategies to apply with my future students. The professor who is dictating this subject is really nice and friendly, he has a real unique way when teaching this subject what makes this subject interesting, and in a way motivate me to study hard and learn new material for my future. I expect to learn more and more everyday and I hope I can share my knowledge about this nice subject.
